A recent British Retail Consortium survey found that more than 90 per cent of retailers reported crime had risen over the last 12 months, more than four-fifths citing the recession as the reason. Criminals are completely disregarding conventional security methods and more and more clients are turning to Concept for a cost-effective solution that really works.
Concept's security fog generators are now employed in 37 countries as a defence and deterrent against burglary, robbery and as an anti-raid tool. High profile clients include major high street names such as Boots, Tesco and Booker Cash & Carry and this year Concept have advanced further into the jewellery sector, with Aurum and Signet Group benefiting from their manufacturing, installation and support expertise. Aurum and Signet are the two largest luxury and prestige jewellers in the UK.
Alongside increased sales and company expansion, Concept won the Physical Security Product of the Year 2009 award at IFSEC with their latest addition to their product range, the Guardian Smoke Screen and Securi-Dock. The Guardian was designed, in partnership with G4S and under consultation with the Metropolitan Police and Armed Response Units, to defend against the risks of attack associated with ATM replenishment visits. This is the third award they have received since 2005.
